What is Davine College/Young Adult Ministry?
Da Vine is a Group of College aged to twenty-somethings that gets together weekly to connect in our relationship with Christ, with the Congregation, and with the Community. We are a community centered around our passion for Jesus. We are everyday people who believe with a strong conviction that there is so much more to this thing called Christianity.
The age makeup of our group is college age and twenty-somethings. There might some variety here and there, but if you are a young adult trying to figure out life and God, you will be very comfortable in our setting.
What does Da Vine mean?
Taken from John 15:1-17, Da Vine is:
-A group called to CONNECT (With Christ, with the Congregation, and with the Community)
-A Ministry where nourishment, refilling, safety, and fellowship are available
-An opportunity for fruit to be produced, and to grow in understanding and reflecting Christ's Love.
What it means for us to CONNECT:
- In CONNECTING with CHRIST (Worship, Bible Study and Prayer)
- In CONNECTING with the CONGREGATION (Fellowship together, fellowship throughout the local congregation, fellowship in the Christian Church as a whole)
- In CONNECTING with the COMMUNITY (Service, Outreach, Evangelism opportunities)
